BACOLOD City – A 17-year-old out-of-school youth minor was arrested, in possession of illegal drug, around 12:05 p.m. Sunday, at 1st Block Uriarte Subdivision, Barangay 3, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Chief Inspector Romeo Vargas, La Carlota City police head, identified the suspect as “Alias Nico”, resident
Vargas notes that though still a minor, the suspect is the “top 4 drug personality” in the city.
Seized from the suspect were one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of “shabu” as buy-bust item in exchange for P200 in marked money; one elongated sachet, and other drug paraphernalia.
The recovered illegal drugs weighed more or less 0.047 grams with an estimated market value of P200.
The suspect is in the custody of the Women and Children protection desk of the La Carlota City police station, to be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
