BACOLOD City – An eight-year-old boy who has been missing for almost four days was found lifeless in Sitio Omot, Barangay Santol, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental over the weekend.
According to the Binalbagan police station, they were informed by a barangay tanod of the said village around 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, that a dead body was found at a sugarcane field.
The victim’s body was already in an advanced state of decomposition, police added.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim was last seen by his family at around 6 a.m. on November 19.
A post-mortem examination of the body will be conducted to determine the cause of death, Binalbagan police said./PN
