MANILA – More free tickets are to be given to Ilonggo volleyball fans who wish to witness the Ateneo Lady Eagles and Perlas-BanKo Lady Spikers game on Aug. 20 at the University of San Agustin Gym in Iloilo City.
According to game organizer Ruding Villaruz, General Admission tickets will be given to those who will be wearing blue or white shirt during the exhibition match.
The game is in line with the 80th Charter Day celebration of Iloilo City.
“We know that many Ilonggos want to see this match live so we are giving away tickets just wear any blue and white t-shirts,” said Villaruz.
He reminded the volleyball fans not to use backpacks.
Leading the way for Lady Eagles are Jhoanna Maraguinot, Bea de Leon, Madeleine Madayag, Kat Tolentino, Pauline Gaston, Jennelle Lo, Julianne Samonte, Dani Ravena, Bettina Abella, Ana Gopico, Deanna Wong, and Negrenses Kassandra and Candice Gequillana.
Bannering the Lady Spikers are Sasa Devanadera, Suzanne Roces, Charisse Ancheta, Kara Acevedo, Ella De Jesus, Amanda Villanueva, Mae Tajima, Jem Ferrer, Rapril Aquino, Amy Ahomiro, Karla Bello, Synjin Reyes, Nicole Tiamzon, and Gizelle Tan.
Aside from Ateneo-Perlas game, three preliminary matches are scheduled: Ateneo de Iloilo vs University of San Agustin (elementary), Ateneo de Iloilo vs Block 17 (secondary) and Biron Cup All-Stars.
Ticket prices for the Lady Eagles-Lady Spikers match in USA Gym will be P1,000 for courtside, P300 for reserved section and P100 for general admission.
