ILOILO City – Motorcycle driver Winnie Guarin wanted to overtake a Ceres bus.
But as he drove alongside the bigger vehicle, the 33-year-old failed to avoid an incoming van, a police report stated.
The resulting crash in Barangay Punong Grande, Dueñas, Iloilo led to Guarin’s death.
The resident of Barangay Sianon, Badiangan town sustained head injuries.
The crash happened at around 7 o’clock on Monday evening, stated the police report.
