
BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth some P185,000 was recovered in a drug entrapment operation in Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, police said.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in 13 plastic sachets were confiscated from the 31-year-old resident William Gonzales and 35-year-old Vicente Sudayon of Purok Riverside, Barangay Bata, a police report showed.
Gonzales and Sudayon were caught after they sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,000 around 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
Drug paraphernalia were also recovered from the suspects.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Inspector Adrian James Albaytar staged the sting operation.
Gonzales and Sudayon were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 2.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
