ROXAS City – A 4th-year Criminology student of Hercor College in this city died in a road accident in St. Joseph Avenue, Pueblo de Panay.
Carlo Eribal sustained injuries on the head, a police report showed.
Police investigators said Eribal was driving a motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into an electric post around 11 p.m. on Friday.
He was drunk when the incident happened, the investigators added.
According to Raymart Bastian, a security guard who saw the incident, the victim was driving fast.
“Pag kurbada nya umigo iya karito sa center island kag lumupad sya kag nakabunggo sa poste,” Bastian told Panay News.
Eribal was brought to the Capiz Doctor’s Hospital in Roxas City where the attending physician declared him dead on arrival./PN
