BACOLOD City – A motorcycle-riding fisherman believed to be drunk died in a vehicular accident in Sitio Burgos, Barangay Luna, Toboso, Negros Occidental on Friday.
The 31-year-old Junmar Mahilum was a resident of the town’s Barangay General Luna.
According to the police, Mahilum overshot his lane and crashed against a cargo truck driven by John Paul Apurado of Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
A bottle of liquor was recovered from the area.
Apurado was placed under the custody of the Toboso police station.
A settlement between the family of the victim and the driver was being arranged./PN
