ILOILO City – A motorcycle-riding man died after he figured in a road accident in Barangay Ticud, La Paz district on Wednesday night, September 11.
Authorities said alias “Erwin” succumbed to head and body injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital in this city.
Chief Master Sergeant Edward Barrida of the Iloilo City Police Office’s Traffic Enforcement Unit, in a radio interview, said the motorcycle overtook a truck.
Upon reaching a curved portion of the road near the Ticud bridge, Barrida said the motorcycle rammed the gutter.
The police officer added that the victim brought his helmet but he was not wearing it./PN
