BACOLOD city – Some 3,400 employees of the provincial government of Negros Occidental will have a merrier Christmas.
Each capitol employee is receiving incentives and bonus worth around P40,000, according to Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
Lacson said the total amount is comprised of P10,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement bonus, P5,000 Productivity Enhancement Incentive, and P25,000 Incentive Benefit for Exemplary Service.
Last year, Capitol employees received P60,000 each.
Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said those who are job order casuals will not receive the financial windfall.
However, Diaz said the provincial government is working on the issue at the moment.
“We will see how they can also receive something,” he said.
The distribution of the bonuses began yesterday./PN
