Negros Occidental’s No. 8 fugitive for murder falls

NEGROS Occidental – Joint operatives of the Kabankalan Component City Police Station and Negros Occidental Police Office’s Intelligence Unit arrested the province’s No. 8 most wanted person in Barangay Mandu-ao, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.

Alias “Jun-jun”, 38, laborer and a resident of Barangay Bantayan, Kabankalan City, Occidental, was apprehended on Friday, December 20, around 4:02 p.m. through the strength of an arrest warrant.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Kabankalan City police station pending turnover to court concern. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office 6, commended the operatives for the successful operation.

“Keep up the good work and continue looking for the remaining wanted persons in the region. We need to account them and make them answer the offense they’ve committed and for their victims attain the justice they deserve,” said Wanky./PN
