ILOILO City – His three neighbors assaulted him, a resident of Sitio Little Janiuay, Barangay Cubay, Jaro district told the police.
Joebel Tanjusay, 35, complained of abdominal pains. Police advised him to get himself checked by a physician.
Tanjusay identified his attackers as Andro Sinto, 30, Joleben Bolhano, 28, and Ranel Sinto, 28.
The attack happened while they were in the house of another unidentified neighbor at around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, a police report showed.
A misunderstanding ensued among them, prompting his neighbors to take turns in mauling him, Tanjusay said.
The alleged attackers cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
The dispute was referred to the barangay lupon./PN
