KALIBO, Aklan – The newly inducted provincial chairman of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in looking into a robbery incident in his house.

Apol Zaraspe III, chief executive officer of the Energy FM-Kalibo, said he is also coordinating with the Aklan Police Provincial Office.

The robbery happened on Nov. 28, a police report showed. The suspect carted away Zaraspe’s .45-caliber service firearm, a Rolex watch, dollar and peso cash, and cellphones, among others.

How the suspect barged into the house was taken by the closed-circuit television camera but his face was blurry.

Police have searched Zaraspe’s carpenter but failed to recover the stolen items.

“I hope that the NBI will investigate deeper,” said Zaraspe.

Zaraspe was elected as the KBP chairman for Aklan on Dec. 9./PN
