BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental-based Marayo Bank, Inc. has a new main branch in Oton, Iloilo.
The Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) approved Resolution No. 1103 dated June 29 that turns the Rural Bank of Oton into Marayo Bank, Inc. Oton Branch.
The Marayo Bank, Inc. Oton Branch will offer various load services — immediate, real estate, chattel mortgage, crop, commercial, pension, salary, allotment, and DepEd (Department of Education) — to Oton, Tigbauan, Guimbal, and San Miguel towns in Iloilo.
Marayo Bank, Inc. has main branches in Pontevedra and EB Magalona in Negros Occidental, and Oton and Banate in Iloilo.
It has extension offices in Binalbagan, Bacolod City, Cadiz City, and Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental, and Passi City, Iloilo.
Over the last five years, Marayo Bank, Inc. had rapid growth in terms of loan productivity and profitability.
As of June 30, its capital adequacy ratio was 24 percent, above the BSP’s minimum requirement of 10 percent./PN
