ILOILO City – Police recovered suspected shabu approximately valued at P612,000 in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay Calumpang, Molo district.
Captain Ryan Christ Inot, officer-in-charge of the Iloilo City Police Office’s Police Station 4, identified the suspect as alias “Mario”, a newly identified drug suspect.
Inot said the suspect was believed to be a runner for a bigger drug dealer who evaded capture in the district’s Barangay South Baluarte recently.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Police Station 4 for proper disposition.
Inot added that their investigation was ongoing as they aim to track down the suspect’s connections and prevent further illegal drug activities in the area./PN
