ILOILO — The No. 1 most wanted person in Dingle town for rape through carnal knowledge was collared on Saturday, September 26.
The 23-year-old alias “Aljon,” single, laborer, and a resident of Pototan town, was arrested at 1:07 p.m. in Dingle through an arrest warrant issued by the Family Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 6 in Dumangas, Iloilo.
The arrest was carried out by the Tracker Team of Dingle Municipal Police Station (MPS).
As of press time, the suspect was detained at the Dingle MPS for proper disposition. The court recommended no bail for his temporary freedom.
“Hindi tayo titigil sa pagtugis sa mga wanted person. Patuloy nating palalakasin ang ating intelligence gathering at manhunt operations upang matunton at maaresto ang mga may kinakaharap na kaso. Ang bawat matagumpay na pag-aresto ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng ating mga komunidad at maitaguyod ang maayos na pagpapatupad ng batas,” said Police Regional Office 6 director Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño./PN
