BACOLOD City – The No. 1 most wanted person of Police Station 7 was arrested in Barangay Alijis.

The 19-year-old resident Jasper Nico Ponje was charged with murder, according to Senior Inspector Ramel Sarona, the police station’s commander.

Ponje was caught on Sunday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin of the Regional Trial Court Branch 45 issued on Nov. 23, 2017.

Ponje was detained at the Police Station 7 lockup facility.

The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
