ILOILO City – A frustrated murder suspect has been arrested in Buenavista, Guimaras.
George Pasol Salvacion, 30, was listed as the No. 7 wanted person of the Leganes, Iloilo police station.
A native of Barangay Nabitasan, Leganes, Iloilo, Salvacion was temporarily residing in Barangay San Nicolas, Buenavista, Guimaras.
Officers from the municipal police stations in Leganes and Buenavista served Salvacion a warrant of arrest at around 3 p.m. on Sunday in Barangay Banban, Buenavista.
Regional Trial Court Judge Antonio Natino Jr. issued the warrant just this March 7, a police report showed.
A P200,000 bail bond has been set for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Senior Inspector Dadje Delima, Leganes police head, said they have been surveilling and plotting the arrest of Salvacion since February.
Salvacion was detained at the Leganes police station lockup cell./PN
