BACOLOD City – Charged with murder, a man was arrested in Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
No bail bond was recommended for the temporary liberty of 67-year-old Federico Leonar, police said.
Leonar, a resident of Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 8 p.m. on July 6, the police added.
Officers of the Pontevedra municipal police station served the warrant issued by Judge Frances Guanzon of the Regional Trial Court Branch 62 in Bago City dated April 11, 2013.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station./PN
