BACOLOD City – The Candoni Municipal Police Station has yet to identify the suspect and motive(s) in the stabbing of a construction worker.
Dionesio Malubay, 51, of Purok Panacmalan, Barangay Poblacion East, Candoni, Negros Occidental, was found with multiple stab wounds at Purok Chichirica, Barangay Poblacion East around 1:25 a.m. on Oct. 3.
The victim was taken to the Candoni Rural Health Unit for immediate medical attention but was declared “dead on arrival” by the attending physician, Dr. Annabelle Guardiario.
Police said the unidentified suspect fled after the incident./PN
