ROXAS City – A 33-year-old fisherman from Barangay Balijuagan here was rushed to the hospital after he accidentally shot himself around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2.
Benito Bulaclac sustained a gunshot wound on his left thigh from a 12-gauge shotgun. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital.
According to the Roxas City Police Office, Bulaclac was under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened.
Police added that the aforementioned firearm has not been recovered yet.
