GUIMARAS – A total of 1,557 employment opportunities will be up for grabs at the Araw ng Pangulo job fair today, September 13, at the provincial capitol grounds in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan town.
The event organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in partnership with the Guimaras Provincial Government is part of the “Araw ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat” in line with the birthday celebration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. today.
Eight local and three overseas employers will participate at the job fair.
DOLE reminded interested applicants to bring their resume and other related credentials.
Also, there would be a payout of financial assistance and emergency employment program beneficiaries.
The “Araw ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat” is a nationwide initiative of the Office of the President to provide government assistance in all provinces in the country./PN
