ROXAS City — An unidentified thief broke into an apartment in Alcazar Subdivision, Barangay XI in this city, carting away over P50,000 worth of electronic devices.
The victim, identified as alias “Abe,” 36, discovered the incident at approximately 12:10 p.m. on Monday, February 23.
According to the Roxas Component City Police Station, the victim noticed the gate of his rented apartment was open when he arrived.
Initial police investigation revealed that the suspect likely gained entry by destroying the window screen and the window itself.
The suspect stole the following gadgets, totaling P50,700: Apple iPod (11th generation), Toshiba Dynabook B65 laptop, iPhone 11, and power bank.
Roxas City police were conducting a follow-up investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrator. They encouraged residents in the area to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station./PN
