BACOLOD City – Cash amounting to P1,300,000 was lost in a robbery incident in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Armed with a gun, two motorcycle-riding suspects who were only identified as certain “Toto” and “Kadong” allegedly grabbed the bag containing the cash from Kabuhayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative cashier Rosalie Toralba and 27-year-old driver Rey Pajarito Jr. around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
The cash was intended for the salary of the employees of the cooperative, police said.
Officers of the Sagay City police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspects, who fled after the incident./PN
