Bacolod City – A man was shot in Barangay Estefania.
The 38-year-old resident Jerry Jaron sustained a gunshot wound on the hand, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as resident Michael Vivero.
According to police investigators, a heated argument ensued between Jaron and Vivero around 9:10 a.m. on Dec. 20.
This prompted Vivero to shoot Jaron, police said.
Jaron was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here for medical treatment.
The motive in the shooting was not immediately established.
Officers of Police Station 4 conducted a manhunt operation against Vivero, who fled after the incident./PN
