ROXAS City – Police operatives recently arrested three suspects for possession of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P1,122,000.
The operation at approximately 7:39 p.m. on Monday, April 8, in Barangay Lawaan led to the confiscation of more or less 165 grams of the illegal substance.
Taken to the police station were alias “Negro,” 37; alias “Rogelio,” 38, both residents of Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City; and alias “Aira,” of Barangay Tapulang, Maayon, Capiz.
The anti-drug sting was carried out by personnel of the Capiz Police Provincial Office-Drug Enforcement Unit, together with the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Roxas Component City Police Station and the Capiz Provincial Intelligence Team.
The three suspects will be charged with violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
