BACOLOD City – Nine sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P108, 800 were confiscated in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Edwin Abela, 30, a resident of the village, yielded the prohibited substance, a police report showed.
Policemen of Silay carried out the entrapment that led to Abela’s apprehension around 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 6.
They took the suspect in custody for filing of appropriate charges./PN
