BACOLOD City — The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized an estimated P136,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested two men in a drug bust at Purok Mahigugma-on, Barangay Tangub on September 14.
Arrested were alias “Kyle,” 36, a resident of Barangay Taculing, and alias “Cornelio,” 36, of Barangay Vista Alegre.
BCPO records showed that operatives of Police Station 8 arrested the suspects after one of them allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer at about 11:40 p.m.
Police recovered several plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a combined weight of about 20 grams, along with the marked money used in the operation.
The suspects, whom police classified as street-level individuals, are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 8.
They are facing charges for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.(WDJ)/PN
