ILOILO – A police buy-bust operation on Saturday, April 27, led to the apprehension of a 26-year-old drug suspect and seizure of 60 grams of suspected shabu.
Officers of the Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested James Bunda Jr. around 8:15 p.m. in Barangay Ungka 2, Pavia town after he sold suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P16,000.
Police Major Dadje Delima, chief of Pavia MPS, said police confiscated approximately P408,000 worth of suspected shabu.
The suspect was detained at the Pavia MPS. He is set to face charges under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
