ILOILO City – Seasoned Panay News photojournalist Ian Paul Cordero shared his expertise to over a hundred student journalists during the University of San Agustin (USA) Publications’ 10th Gusting Journalism Seminar and Workshop.
The Gusting Seminar is a campus journalism fellowship hosted by the USA Publications held on Sept 21.
During the workshop, Cordero highlighted the importance of basic techniques and photojournalism ethics during his talk – dubbed “Through the eyes, beyond the lens.”
The event themed “PENumbra: Finding Light Among the Shadows Thrugh Campus Journalism” consisted of several seminars featuring the leading journalists in Western Visayas, where they shared their expertise to students of the USA and its affiliated schools./PN
