ILOILO – A regular employee of the Passi City government was apprehended in an antidrug operation in the city’s Barangay Poblacion Ilawod.

The 41-year-old alias “Bukaw” was nabbed 8 a.m. yesterday.

Joint operatives of the Passi City Police Station and Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Special Operations Group confiscated from the suspect approximately 31 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P210,800.

Bukaw, tagged by the police as a high-value individual, was under surveillance for a month before the operation.

The suspect is currently detained at the Passi City Police Station./PN
