ILOILO – Sixteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P1,802,000 were seized from a 38-year-old woman in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Lico-an, Barotac Nuevo town.
High-value drug suspect alias “Riz”, a resident of the said barangay, was arrested by the Barotac Nuevo police around 4:35 p.m. on Monday, April 29.
Police added the alleged illegal drugs weighed approximately 265 grams.
The suspect, an alleged bodegera of illegal drugs, was detained at the Barotac Nuevo Municipal Police Station. She is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
