ILOILO – A fatal tragedy struck the Cruz siblings of Barangay Sablogon, Passi City recently.
Milco, 47, an employee of the local government of Passi, and Vey, 45, were victims of an accidental electrocution.
The two had been hunting their chicken, supposedly to prepare a soup later, when they stumbled upon the live wire.
According to Police Major Marvin Buenavista, the city police chief, the two were found by a passerby at around 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 2.
The siblings were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Passi City government has expressed its readiness to provide assistance to the grieving family./PN
