ILOILO – A 28-year-old man was shot to death outside a KTV bar in Barangay Ungka 2, Pavia town around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24.
Alias “Larry,” 28, and a resident of Barangay San Jose, San Miguel town, was rushed to Asia Pacific Medical Center in Barangay Ungka, Jaro, Iloilo City but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. He succumbed to a gunshot wounds on his head.
Pavia police identified the suspect as alias “Kitboy” who had seven other companions. They were all residents of Barangay Tacas, Jaro district.
According to Major Dadje Delima, chief of the Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS), the groups of the victim and the suspect were about to leave the KTV bar but a commotion ensued between them, which led to fist fight and shooting.
Delima said a hot pursuit operation against Kitboy and his companions was ongoing as of this writing./PN
