ILOILO City – A resident of Lot 10, Block 15 at Deca Homes Subdivision in Barangay Padac, Pavia, Iloilo was arrested.

The 45-year-old Sharon Pilapil was charged with violating Batas Pambansa 22, the law penalizing the making or drawing and issuance of a check without sufficient funds or credit.

Officers served her a warrant of arrest at around 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 on Bonifacio Drive.

Presiding Judge Christian Emmanuel Pimentel of the Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Pasig City issued the warrant on Aug. 29 and set the bail bond for her temporary liberty at P2,000.

Pilapil was detained at Police Station 1. It was not immediately clear as of this writing if she has posted bail./PN
