MANILA – Michael DiGregorio’s stint with the TNT KaTropa lasted just for a conference. He was shipped to the Alaska Aces in exchange for gunner Simon Enciso in a one-on-one trade deal.

Also part of the trade, which was approved by the PBA Commissioner’s Office the other night, the KaTropa sent its 2023 second-round draft pick to the Aces.

Enciso, who is playing in his fourth team in the league, will be a huge addition to the KaTropa following his solid season for the Aces where he averaged 10.2 points spiked by a 33 percent clip from beyond the arc, to go with 3.8 assists.

Enciso is expected to join forces with veteran playmaker Jayson Castro over at the KaTropa, which continues its hunt for its first PBA title since the 2015 Commissioner’s Cup.

On the other hand, DiGregorio found himself in a new squad barely four months since joining the KaTropa after being traded by the Blackwater Elite midway in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup for Brian Heruela.

DiGregorio had solid numbers for the Elite early in the 2019 PBA season posting 11.6 markers per outing spiked by 42 percent three-point shooting. His numbers dipped to 3.4 points in his brief stint with the KaTropa./PN
