MANILA – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is hoping that consulting firm McKinsey & Company can help in the development of Philippine economy.
The Chief Executive made the remark during McKinsey & Company Chief Executive Officer Bob Sternfels’ visit at the Malacañang Palace on Thursday.
“Hopefully… that we will be able to gain something from your insights on the transformation of the Philippine economy. That’s the process that we are presently undertaking,” Marcos told Sternfels.
The McKinsey & Company is a global management consulting firm that usually advises to the world’s leading businesses, governments, and institutions.
McKinsey, which was formed in 1926, has operated as a single global partnership united by a strong set of values, and the drive to deliver positive, enduring change.
According to the firm’s website, Sternfels’ focus was to ensure that “McKinsey lives up to its dual mission of helping our clients realize lasting and substantial improvements in their performance; while also attracting, developing and retaining exceptional people in an inclusive culture.”
Sternfels was accompanied by Jon Canto, McKinsey’s managing partner in the Philippines, and Albert Chang, managing partner in Southeast Asia, during the courtesy call./PN
