THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reaffirmed its commitment to delivering compassionate and concrete assistance to Filipinos through its social welfare programs.

As part of this effort, PCSO Executive Assistant VI from the Office of the General Manager, Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla, led the turnover of mobility aids for the 2nd District of Capiz on March 30, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office.

The donated items included wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and canes, aimed at providing essential support to persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and indigent residents. These assistive devices are expected to help ease daily mobility challenges and improve the quality of life of beneficiaries.

The assistance was received by Mark Anthony Grejaldo, Political Affairs Officer III, on behalf of Capiz 2nd District Representative Jane Tan Castro, who expressed gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support.

Grejaldo said the mobility aids will be distributed promptly to qualified recipients in the district to ensure that those in need directly benefit from the program.

PCSO emphasized that the activity is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to provide humane, inclusive, and compassionate services, particularly to vulnerable sectors.

Through initiatives like this, the agency continues to strengthen its partnerships with local government units and other stakeholders, ensuring that assistance reaches communities across the country.

PCSO reiterated its commitment to promoting the welfare and dignity of every Filipino.

“PCSO, Hindi Umuurong sa Pagtulong!”
