ROXAS City – A man accused of theft was arrested in Barangay San Fernando, Pilar, Capiz, a police report showed.
The 34-year-old resident Wilter Ajesta was caught around 11 a.m. on Friday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Eugene Cabardo of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 7 in Iloilo City issued last month.
The warrant was issued in relation to Criminal Case No. R225-18 that Ajesta faces before the court.
Ajesta was detained at the Pilar municipal police station lockup facility.
A P6,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
