ROXAS City – He was on his way home when suspects riding in tandem shot him in Barangay Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz, a police report showed.
The 59-year-old resident Ramon Berug died of a gunshot wound on the head on Tuesday, police said.
According to investigators, Berug was walking with some of his reltives when the suspects waylaid and shot him.
The suspects then fled to an unknown direction, the witnesses said.
Police Officer 1 Herbert de la Vega said they are looking into land dispute as a possible motive in the attack.
