ILOILO City – In Barangay Medina, Madalag, Aklan, an attempted homicide suspect was arrested yesterday.
Resident Renato Javier, 47, was the No. 6 most wanted person in the town. Authorities had been searching for him for 16 years, a police report showed.
Police officers served him an arrest warrant at around 6:45 a.m. and detained him at the Madalag police station.
Judge Emmanuel Mationg of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court issued the warrant and set the bail at P12,000, police said./PN
