ILOILO City – Officers of the Pavia Municipal Police Station collared Western Visayas’ No. 3 most wanted person on Saturday, February 1, in Barangay Purok 4, Pavia, Iloilo.
The 44-year-old Jesus Plaga Jacome Jr. of the town’s Barangay Ungka 1, was arrested at 3 p.m. through an arrest warrant for the crime of murder issued by Judge Victorino Maniba Jr. of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 39.
According to Police Major Harold Rendora of the Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS), Jacome was a suspect in a shooting incident sometime in 2024 in Barangay Ungka 1. The victim died.
“He did not hide because he had no idea that he was accused for murder, that’s why it was easy for us to arrest him,” Rendora said.
The suspect was detained at the Pavia MPS.
Meanwhile, Rendora said their intelligence officers are currently reviewing the list of wanted persons in their area of responsibility./PN
