ILOILO City – A man was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district.
Alcris Demacurut of Barangay San Antonio, Oton, Iloilo allegedly transacted suspected shabu worth P4,600 to an undercover cop around 9:30 p.m.
A total of 14 sachets were recovered from the suspect, police said.
Demacurut was detained at the Arevalo police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against him.
According to the police, Demacurut claimed his source was from Calaparan./PN
