BACOLOD City – Policemen of Cauayan, Negros Occidental seized firearms and ammunitions from a resident of the town’s Barangay Mambugsay.
The 37-year-old Jimmy Encarnacion was caught on the strength of a search warrant around 8:10 a.m. on March 27.
A .38-caliber revolver, one homemade shotgun (sulpak) and two ammunitions were recovered from his possession, police said.
Encarnacion was detained in the lockup cell of the Cauayan police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
