BACOLOD City – The Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) conducted the Philippine National Police (PNP) Day One-Stop Shop of Frontline Services for police personnel and their dependents on January 30 at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOcPPO) Kanlaon Hall, Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr., in this city.
The activity was part of a nationwide PNP initiative themed “Serbisyong Nararamdaman, Kapulisang Maaasahan,” which aims to enhance the welfare of police officers and their families through accessible and efficient service delivery.
The event was spearheaded by PRO-NIR Regional Director Brig. Gen. Arnold Thomas C. Ibay and was represented by Col. Glenn Oliver C. Cinco, Assistant Director for Regional Police Affairs (ADRPA).
It was attended by members of the command group, regional staff, police personnel, their dependents, and representatives from partner government agencies.
Participating agencies included the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association Inc. (AFPSLAI), Public Safety Savings and Loan Association Inc. (PSSLAI), PNP Savings and Mutual Benefit Foundation Inc. (PSMBFI), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Department of Agriculture (DA), Land Transportation Office (LTO), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Regional Communications Support Unit (RCSU), Highway Patrol Group (HPG), and the Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU).
These agencies provided on-site services such as document processing, benefits and membership updates, licensing, financial assistance, and other essential government transactions, allowing participants to complete multiple requirements in a single venue.
The One-Stop Shop initiative streamlined procedures, reduced waiting times, and provided convenient access to services for police personnel and their families.
In his message, Ibay underscored that the program reflects the PNP’s commitment to caring for its workforce, emphasizing that the “New PNP” is anchored on discipline, professionalism, and genuine concern for its people.
The successful conduct of the activity highlights PRO-NIR’s continuing commitment to personnel welfare, morale-building, and empowering police officers to serve the public with integrity and dedication./PN
