MOTORISTS will get a slight reprieve this week, as fuel retailers on Monday, August 31, announced pump price rollbacks, following two straight weeks of hikes.
Below are the advisories from retailers:
* Gasoline: P0.30 – P0.32
* Diesel: P3.80 – P3.83
* Kerosene: P3.80 – P3.84
The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. today, September 1.
Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week as of this writing.
Firms last week hiked prices per liter of gasoline by P1.08, diesel by P2.31, and kerosene by P0.95.
This brought year-to-date adjustments to a net increase of P54.92 per liter for gasoline, P59.06 per liter for diesel, and P51.65 per liter for kerosene as of August 31, 2026. (GMA News)
