Rachelle Ann Go back as ‘Fantine’ in ‘Les Miserables’

RACHELLE Ann Go reprised the role of Fantine in the popular Broadway musical “Les Miserables” West End production at Sondheim Theater in London.

The 33-year-old musical theater actress shared photos of her in costume on Instagram.

She wrote: “I’m back @lesmizofficial ???????? Last night was fun but nerve wracking????”

Posing in her outfit and a grey beret, Rachelle added that she would be “blonde” for the next seven weeks, and “then back in July.”

The long-running musical, which has toured various countries across the world including the Philippines, began its West End production on March 2.

Rachelle will play Fantine from March 2 until April 18 and then again from July 27. From April 20 July 25, English actress Carrie Hope Fletcher will play the role.

Rachelle shared that she would be spending the time in-between performances to travel the world with her husband Martin Spies.

She first joined the musical’s cast during its 30th-anniversary staging in London, following her acclaimed performance as the hardened bar girl Gigi Van Tranh in “Miss Saigon” West End comeback. (GMA)
