MANILA – Due to the inclement weather and flooding in Metro Manila, PBA postponed Game 2 of the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters on Tuesday.
The match, which was supposed to be played Tuesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, was moved to 7 p.m. on Thursday in the same venue, said PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial.
“Your PBA is cancelling its game (on Tuesday) due to floods and the continuing inclement weather,” Marcial said in a statement. “Safety and security of the fans, players and officials are always of utmost concern.”
Kings holds a 1-0 advantage in the series after its 102-89 victory over Painters in Game 1 on Sunday night behind the hot shooting of import Justin Brownlee and Jeff Chan./PN
