BACOLOD City – Accused of rape, a 47-year-old resident of Barangay Jerusalem, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental was arrested on Tuesday, June 15.
Jerry Olavia was finally caught after nine years of hiding, said Police Lieutenant Colonel Rocky Desear, Cadiz City police chief.
Judge Renato Muñez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 60 ordered Olavia’s arrest. He issued the arrest warrant on Feb. 29, 2012 yet.
No bail bond was recommended for the temporary liberty of the suspect who was detained at the Cadiz City police station./PN
