ILOILO City – A 31-year-old man charged with rape was arrested in his house in Barangay Panayakan, Tangalan, Aklan.
Marlon Aguelo was detained in the municipal police station lockup cell around 7 a.m. yesterday.
Regional Trial Court Branch 3 (Kalibo) Presiding Judge Beinvenido Barrios Jr. issued the warrant of arrest against the suspect.
No bail was recommended for Aguelo’s temporary liberty./PN
