CAPIZ – Another training program of Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) in Roxas City, Capiz has been granted accreditation.
Just recently, the Philippine College of Physicians granted RMPH’s Department of Internal Medicine Residency Training Program with a 3-year accreditation.
“RMPH strives to provide quality healthcare services to the public by improving staff competencies through its residency training programs,” the hospital management through their Facebook page said, as they touted RMPH as a training ground of excellence.
Dr. Edmarie Magallanes-Tormon is the Chief of Hospital of RMPH.
Last September 2021, RMPH application for accreditation for the Surgical Residency Training Program has also been granted.
It was 2019 yet when the RMPH Department of Surgery expressed interest to apply for the said program. The coronavirus pandemic slowed it down, however.
On Aug. 26, 2021, a virtual accreditation visit of the hospital facility and its employees finally pushed through./PN
